Would that have grown so quickly? It's about 2/3 the length of a
regular toe now. I'm familiar with actinic keratosis in humans, but
those are typically flattish (compared to this, anyway; they're
typically slightly raised, I think) and slow-growing, and are a
precursor to skin cancer.
Oh, and the "no surgery" is about the internal stuff; we may yet
operate on the foot.
