If adrenal disease has not been considered and looked for you don't
know that. Her behavior towards your other ferrets may be an indicator.

Lupron needs to be given continuously to be effective. I would suggest
adrenal disease as the cause of swelling as well as the infections and
recommend you try giving lupron on a regular basis. It may just solve
the problem.
