My vet didn't scope the sinuses I don't think. I work at an animal
hospital, unfortunately the vets at my practice are not specialized
in exotics. Tomorrow, our new exotics vet starts.
The antibiotics she was on was Baytril both times. I gave her .2ml
every 12 hours for 14 days. She did run a culture on that "pus" the
first time, but it came back negative for anything. I don't even know
if they tried to trace the infection. Like i said, she was not really
sure what to do with any of it. I am hoping that they new vet knows a
little more about ferrets.
I am just concerned with her health. Her sneezing fits scare the life
out of me, because they just seem so violent and she lets out little
cries when they end.
