I have a 7 YO female insulinomic on natural hydrocortisone and (personally) would not even CONSIDER vaccinating her in her current compromised condition. Albeit, I'm also a proponent of natural feeding and care so do not vaccinate except for the initial series done by breeder. This decision is not 100% risk free but I've done my research, evaluated the situation, and decided this is what's best for my ferrets. For Precious, the risk of a vaccination reaction isn't worth it because she's an indoor ferret and doesn't come in contact with many other people or animals. Mind you, I do take necessary precautions with pet owning visitors.

That's my 2 cents for what it's worth but you need to make the decision you feel comfortable with.
