We just fill the tub about 3 or 4 " with warm water. just enough so it covers their back. Then we hold them under the front legs and let them dangle while soaping them up. Let the shampoo stay on them at least 3 minutes to kill the fleas - the longer the better. Then we rinse them off under gently running water trying not to get it in their faces. Then we dry them with a towel and let them go nuts for awhile. Sometimes if they're really upset we give them some treats. We don't use anything other than ordinary ferret shampoo.
