It can be tricky to change food. Usually with kibble you need to start mixing the new with the old, first a little of the new with a lot of the old, and then gradually increasing the amount of new and decreasing the old until they are imprinted on the new food. We've done this each time that we get a new ferret from the shelter, and it usually takes a couple of weeks.
