Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferrets with hind end problems and can't walk
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
thank you everyone that sent ideas or suggestions on my two kids
especially the concern for them. every idea or suggestions just
might be the right one.
i have taken them to the vet for tests and they are going back
again. they don't have blockages and no ear mites. i am going to
get blood test run on both and see if there is anything that comes up
as a red flag. until then, i will keep changing out their bedding,
feed soup and meds and let them have treats as they want. i carried
max around in a front pack this morning for quite a while and when he
was sleeping i put him back in his cage.
they aren't having seizures so it isn't insulinomia and besides that,
i don't know what it could be. my vet is almost at a loss too.
OH....by the way i am a shelter.
[Section asking if only one person had any ideas removed by moderator.
The reason we have this rule is because it tends to create a situation
where people do NOT get responses. Here is why:
Vets have limited time and often are not on-line.
Others don't answer if they think the question is just for one person
or one group of people.
So, it backfires, badly -- really badly often.
The one person is away a lot, so others should, please, provide info.]

idea. please send it on.
