just a reminder: since Pred is what is given to bring up blood
sugar levels looking to see if the sugar is down will be altered
upward by the Pred. I.E. If there is insulinoma it may not show.
Now, if there is diabetes or an infection then the steroids could
worsen things. Steroids can be useful for reducing an overwhelming
immune response but they also reduce normal immune responses.
Are these ferrets related to each other? Ages?
