Well, Petco uses both MFs and Hagan/Real Canadian ferrets.
MFs are probably no more inbred than any other farm because
they breed by groupings and avoid inbreeding that way.
This does not sound genetic.
I haven't heard this described before.
Are there any anti-coagulant poisons in your home, for
example rat poison?
The kit vaccines for canine distemper are short term and boosters
are essential. Canine Distemper does cause a chin rash but what
you describe really makes me wonder about poisoning incidents.
