I had a similar problem with a sick ferret a while back.
I just started making a soup with carnivore care in it.
Here's what is in it:
1 1/2 cups of highest quality kibble
(whatever you feed normally)
3 cups of water
Add to blender,
let kibble soak up for about 15 minutes and then blend.
It will look like brown water.
I blend it about 4 times.
Add, 1/2 package of Carnivore Care
1/2 package of Pingsford Porridge
(or dehydrated meat product Like AFS sprinkles for cats.)
Blend again, and again, and again as you want as smooth as possible
mixture, no clumps.
If too thick to blend add more water and blend, blend, blend.
Add 2 each jars Gerber Baby food (chicken and Turkey)
Blend, Blend, Blend.
It should pour like thick paste.
I store it in old jars and freeze all but one. That one I use over the
next few days.
I have out of 15 Ferrets only 2 that won't eat this, why? Don't have a
clue, but only 2 out of 13 aren't bad odds.
I had some take to it right away, others needed persuading, like
putting on their gums, nose or feet. I am still working on the 2
stubborn ones.
I am trying to go to an all meat diet with no kibble, soon, but it
takes time and it is slow going with a few of these old farts, oh I
mean ferts.
I take out about 2 tablespoons for each ferret put it in a bowl, heat
inthe microwave for about 12-15 seconds(just enough to take the cold
off, but not enough to cook it).
Serve and bon appetit

[Moderator's Notes:
1. With a soft diet as the normal food remember to be
extra careful to brush the teeth daily. Some studies
have indicated that a soft diet might create more dental
plaque.
2. Meat by itself is an incomplete diet which is very poor
in many nutrients especially in many needed minerals, so
hopefully you meant meats, organs, skin, and a calcium
source.]
