I have had a vet pretreat a female ferret with known reactions to vaccinati=
ons with Benadryl and it did not help.=A0 She still had a reaction whether =
full blown or not, I do not know.=A0 Her reaction was more than just diarrh=
ea and vomiting.=A0 She shook all over, was unable to move and had what I w=
ould describe as a "wild" look to her.=A0=A0Dex=A0helped although she was w=
eak the rest of the day.
=A0
This year at=A0vaccination time the vet plans to pretreat with both Benadry=
l and Dex=A0and hopefully avoid a reaction all together.=A0 If it does not =
work, my vet will no longer vaccinate this little girl.=A0 =A0=A0=A0
