Hi Nigel, how long does the implant last, I give hormone shots every year but we get them done very cheaply as my club has around 80 jills done at one sitting. Are you in the UK as adrenal is very rare in UK ferrets. You could let her have her first season and then give her a hormone shot before having her spayed. Most of our jills are spayed without any problems if they are done by an experienced vet. Chris.
