Thanks to all for your quick responses! I will check with the vet as
to whether or not he tested BG.
I had him in the quarantine cage for a while, but he was getting
depressed, and stopped eating. Every time I let him out, he would go
to the big cage to try and get in. I put him back in the big cage, and
put litter boxes, food and bedding on both levels (I have the large
Ferret Nation cage with two full levels and two half levels).
I'm not sure about water therapy, because he hates baths, but I will
give it a try at least once.
If you can give cranberry to an opossum, then it must be ok for
ferrets, too...I will also check the other Yahoo group for info on
cranberry. I bought cranberry extract capsules, which you can open up
and add a bit of powder to some ferretone.
