Some of mine get this too. I just think it's dead skin, because well -
ferrets don't exactly get out the pumice stone ;)
I might be wrong but I think it's perfectly fine. I actually peel away
some of them sometimes on a few guys because they get so long. They
just look like regular old dead skin to me, except being yellowish on
some of them. They have had them for years.
If anyone else knows if they are bad or something else, please post!
