Subject: [ferrethealth] Question on ferret behavior when their mate is gone.

Hello. My sweet baby Lily hasn't been seen in 3 days. We live in a
small apartment and there's not many places she could be, yet we can't
find her. My question(s), if she has passed away somewhere in the
apartment will my other ferret Sammie be able to tell? And if something
has happend to her or she can't be found how will this effect our
Sammie? If afraid he will become so depressed he'll just give up and
pass away himself. What should I do?
