Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Question on ferret behavior when their mate is gone.
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Don't forget to look up. A know of a ferret that climbed a mattress
that was against a wall and got into the rafters of the basement. He
was there for 3 days and the owner was very relieved to find a very
hungry but alive fuzzy.

Check your closets and make sure your Lily didn't climb something and
fall down and is wedged somewhere.

Set a live trap in your apartment.

Shut everything off and listen. Listen for breathing, snoring or
scratching.

Bedsprings. The holes under the sink.

Don't give up hope and keep us posted. Sending good thoughts that Lily
is found very soon.
