Well, its a good job I do, Suki was back to the vet today with a
reccurence of her anal gland problem, 1 month after the initial case.
I was alerted by her increasing licking and grooming of the area and
she was becoming a little distracted and one look was enough to see a
slight swelling. One month seems very quick to get a reccurence.

This time the vet was amazed by how much he expressed he said it was
more than he gets from some dogs, at least a level teaspoon full.
The first time the oil was smooth like tooth paste, this time it had
a slightly gritty appearance but still a solid yellow with no sign of
infection.
He is reluctant to do surgery to remove the sacs for the reasons
already mentioned. We are considering our options, any wise words
welcome.

Tony , Sugar and Suki.
In memory of Sally and Sue.
