How many mg per ml? That will be on the bottle. Because of multiple
concentrations providing the cc amount -- which is the same as ml
amount -- alone does not give quite enough info to know the dose
which will be in mg.
Also, size of the ferret is important for some meds because dose is often
by how many mg of med per kg of weight.
Is the Pred Prednisone (which is not optimal in effect if the liver is at all
compromised) or Prednisolone? (Pediapred is a form of Prednisolone.)
The body needs to have the liver convert Prednisone into Prednisolone
before it can be used, so by skipping that step by giving Prednisolone
there will be more effect from the same amount of Pred if the liver isn't
working up to par.
