I guess I should clarify that I would definitely NOT serve straight canned dog food of any kind. The soup we serve also includes some Uncle Jim's Duk Soup mix, some ground Totally Ferret kibble, and a little ferretone, with the Forti Flora added every second or third day. The Evo or Instinct dog food or Gerber's Stage 2 turkey baby food is just a part of the mix, so the soup as a whole is nutritionally balanced, and has proven to be very good for Trinny, who has IBD, as well as Luna, who also used to have a lot of weird stools prior to the current soup recipe.
