Subject: [ferrethealth] Infected Eye

My little boy woke up this morning with a matter filled, infected eye that
is very tender. He will not let me 'pull' it open.
I am going to place a warm wash cloth over his eye..if I can hold him.
My question for the FML is...can I safely use human eye ointments in his
eye? If so, what OTC ointments can I use?
