Best to have a veterinarian evaluate that cough. Could be the flu,
allergies, heart issues, pneumonia or even lymphoma if its been going on
for some time.

If a possible hair ball it also needs to be dealt with so that it
doesn't become an obstruction, for example, giving something like
FerretLax regularly until it passes. However, you want to rule out
something more serious first and that will require a vet visit.

Sneezing could be related or not. Might be a sinus infection or just
dust ball reaction.

Ferrets do not get colds but do get influenza.

Again best to get them into the vet and have them checked out in case it
is something more serious going on with either of them.

You say you've adopted them. Was that from a shelter or privately? A
shelter would have had a vet check done before you got them.

What do you mean by "he fell down a few steps"? Is that somehow related
to when he started sneezing?
