I would also add amoxicillin twice a day. i have used both of the
above but I prefer the Metronidazole, since i get it in pill form and
only have to give it once a day. you will use a piller and as soon
as the pill is securely down in the throat i start a syringe of soup
and they really never know they got the pill and there is no bad
taste either.
i always give the meds for at least 2 weeks even if the signs have
gone away by 10. i have had good luck doing this protocol.
