Congratulations on savings the life of your ferret. Sounds like you got
there just in time and your doing a great job. I hope all those cherrios
did not cause too much damage. I agree that a thorough vet check is in
order.
For the hind leg weakness our vet suggested holding the ferret in an
upright position with the hind legs in the palm of the hand. While
watching tv or a similar activity while seated gently bounce him up and
down on his hind legs several times a day as exercise.
