I use Tylan plus 1cc of prednosolone=A0for Rufus's IBD twice daily.=A0 We s=
tarted him out on .1cc of the mixture of tylan and are now up to .3cc.=A0 I=
t has really made an improvement.=A0
Here is the mixture:
1=A0teaspoon Tylan to 20ml of syrup.=A0 This may be doubled but it is only =
good for 30 days.
I use oral suspension, you can get it at your vet or=A0at your pharmancy,=
=A0and mix in the bottle.=A0 The mixture needs to be in the fridge.=A0 remo=
ve medication from the refrigerator 30 mins before using.=A0 It must be be =
shaken well.
If you are=A0using the flavorx you will need to have your vet do it for you=
.=A0 Here is that info:
Tylan Soluble Powder (Tylosin)
Concentration: 50MG/0.25
1/4 teaspoon tylan powder per 5ml of Flavorx syrup.=A0 Add 1 drop flavorx p=
er 5ml and then add preferred flavoring.=A0 We use Peanut Butter.
If you are using this mixture, you will need to remvoe medication from the =
refridgerator 30 mins before using.=A0 It must be be shaken well.
I don't use the flavorx any more.=A0 I add the .3cc of mixture to a syringe=
of soup and they don't=A0know they are getting anything but the soup.
