You are near one of the best veterinary teaching hospitals in Canada -
Ontario Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Guelph, Ontario and they are
expert in exotics and do receive referrals from veterinarians.

The Tennessee Panel is an expensive test to run, and the results for
us in Canada take a couple of weeks to get back. If she is going to
have surgery anyway, the attending veterinary surgeon can eyeball the
adrenals while in there. Also an experienced and knowledgeable
ferret veterinarian can generally determine if there is a high
probability of adrenal disease from the clinical symptoms alone
without the necessity of running the expensive Tennessee Panel.
Certainly ask the vet about the test, but it does sound like her
overall condition may be urgent and you may not want to wait a couple
of weeks for test results to come back.
Again if you are having the surgery anyway, you do not really need to
have the Tennessee Panel run - unless your veterinarian recommends
otherwise.
An injection of Lupron Depot will not in any way hurt her and had
been recommended to me before the actual adrenal surgery was done.
