I would see that ferret experienced vet and let him/her present you
with what your options might be, then decide what to do.
I would personally not risk giving a ferret any kind of medication or
substance without knowing first what you are dealing with for certain.
You could make things worse. And until she is assessed by a ferret
knowledgeable vet - its all speculation.
No one can realistically make an informed decision without having all
the facts, which means keeping your appointment - whether or not you
opt for surgery. At the very least a full blood panel and CBC should
be done.
