This may or may not be relevant to your situation,
but when my Bandit got his adrenal surgery, he also contracted a nice
case for ringworm. At the time, the Vet didn't believe that ferrets
got ringworm, but directed me to Athelete Foot medication with
tolnaftate-Tinactin.
I tried it, it worked nicely.
There is a Veterinary version called Tinavet, but that may be by Rx in
your country.
