For those of you who responded, thank you.
We made a call to the vet this morning and got him in. After an
examination the vet told us of two options. One was hospitilization
and IV fluids and electrolytes and this and that and the other with
very little hope for recovery. Sorry, don't remember it all. She knew
we had done everything we could for Nakk since the onset of his
troubles and have watched his health get better and relapse and get
better again till the final 'crash' these last few days.
It was not an easy choice, my wife and I had discussed the medical
cost and were more than prepared to pay it... but there would have to
be a bigger chance of recovery than the one we were given.
Nakk passed away in my arms shortly after 11am this morning. He will
always be remembered. In the four years he was with us he was loved
and lived a full and complete life.
... i don't have the words to express how much he meant to me...
I think I'm gonna go cuddle the rest of my kids now.
