Thank You Sukie, for presenting a great set of perspectives.
I'm always reminding folks to make out a separate account for exotic
medical issues, for we all KNOW they WILL arise sooner or later.
I had just taken in 3 youngsters 1 1/2yrs in Nov, and wound up
having one of them have a 4 day hospital stay, biopsy, IV supports,
and ultimately assisted to the Bridge, to the tune of $1600+.
That fast, even young and seemingly healthy ferrets can shoot
downhill, and a solid wall of $$ and a trusted Vet is what will be needed.
