Hi,
The end of last year I paid $747 to have two skin tumors removed from Nexus=
=A0by a vet who specializes in ferrets.=A0 I thought the bill would be arou=
nd $400 and was surprised at how much things have gone up.=A0 This has made=
me realize that I cannot afford another ferret when he passes.=A0 I could =
foster a ferret from the local shelter, which means I would provide food an=
d care, and the shelter is responsibile for vet bills and the board makes a=
ny=A0serious medical decisions.=A0 However, I may not even be able to do th=
at, as we plan to move to an area where there probably aren't any good ferr=
et vets within driving distance.=A0 I have owned ferrets since 1990, and it=
would be difficult to give them up, but=A0I probably will have to.=A0
=A0Moxie, Nexus (ferret), Smudge, Ziggy, and Chuckie (g. pigs), Snowflake, =
Kersey & Soldier (goats), missing Bronson
