Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: REALITY check

well I thought I'd weigh in. I spend a ton on ferret vet bills every
year. However, as I have been around the ferret community for longer
and longer, sometimes I think that the less we interfere with the
ferrets, the longer they live, especially in terms of quality of life.
Sometimes I think the more we do to them, the more we shorten their
life span. Who knows, obviously it might just be that the genetically
sicklier ferrets need more surgeries than ones who have a good
constitution. Has anyone else noticed something similar?
