The rate of reaction with current vaccines is below 5% if I recall
the monitoring figures properly, but work is on-going to
figure out if more years can occur between vaccines.

Half doses of CD vaccines risk the vaccine being useless due to
the immune system having not been properly stimulated to learn
to rapidly respond to an early exposure. See Dr. Ruth's post:

in your case you came upon a bad batch. Then the problem
really winds up multiplied. Luckily, Fervac was the worst for
that, as well as having the highest rate of reactions and perhaps
another problem, and that vaccine is no longer on the market.
