With slippery elm bark powder, a little goes a long way. I would estimate maybe 1/8 of a teaspoon mixed with soup once a day. If that isn't effective then you can try adding a little more. You don't want to use too much or it can cause the poops to have too much mucuous. I use it as a regular part of the soup that I feed our 5 ferrets daily.
