That is wonderful news Eleanor!

I think that what you suggest is basically what the FHL does - except
that only your personal vet can make a diagnosis and prescribe
treatment.

Contributors, professionals and laypersons alike, do make suggestions
of what it may be based on their own experiences and what they have
learned. They share the successes or failures they've had with
treatments for their own ferrets with similar conditions.

What a person gets is information, suggestions, the benefit of others'
experiences and support.
