Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: not well ferret (update)
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Unfortunatly, we were unable to find out what was wrong with Bullet
before it was too late. On the morning on Feb. 6th Bullet started
seizing. The vet had to give him anethesia b/c that was the only
thing that seemed to stop the seizing. He had gained no weight since
his previous visit even though he was eating duck soup every 2-3
hours. The vet. decided at this point that it was most likely
cancer. We had to make the hardest decision and put Bullet down. We
did an autopy and found out that 6in of intestine was dead and just
numorous tumors were on his adrenal glands, kidney and pancreas. Our
decision was for the best when we find all this out. The vet is
pretty sure it was lymphoma. Thank you everyone for all your advice
I really do appreciate it. He put up a good fight and we will miss
him very, very much.
