On the other hand, even when lymphoma does get into
the spinal cord, if that is what is being encountered, it
is not always rapid.

One of ours had something like 6 months with lymphoma
in the spinal cord and got quality life for that time by having
high levels of Prednisolone and also having an opiate pain
killer. Although people would hear "opiate" and think that
she was "drugged up" exactly the opposite happened. With
her pain controlled she became active again and playful.

SO, even if the lymphoma has gone to the spinal cord, which
may or may not be the case with this ferret, that does not
automatically mean that the progression from this point has
to be rapid.
