Subject: [ferrethealth] Re:DMK ferret grinding teeth/Uno

My vet just called and said that Uno is ready to come home. I will be
picking him up at around 4 p.m. She wants to give him more fluids to
flush that colored pee which has gotten lighter. His asperate biopsies
came back negative for cancer!!!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! He
does have inflammation in his liver which she is treating with
penacillin. She believes the reason that the barium pooled in his
tummy was due to a ulcer! She thinks it coated the ulcer and that is
why he was feeling better! All I know is I AM SO HAPPPPPPYYYYYYY for
him! Will load him up with kisses when I get him!
Thank you all for your ideas, suggestions and help! I hope all other
ferrets on this list who are sick, have great results too.
I will be starting Uno on Milk Thistle which is 1/8 of a capsule in his
food. Thank you Diane for that suggestion!
