I also had a ferret, Rayna, diagnosed w/ lymphoma, that had spread into her=
spine.=A0 She lost control of her hind legs and bladder/bowel control.=A0 =
Rayna's lymphoma was also very high grade aggressive lymphoma.=A0 I believe=
it spread into her spine towards to beginning of her diagnosis.=A0 What th=
e vet did to help her, was a couple of courses of radiation therapy.=A0=A0 =
This did help, as she did=A0regain bladder/bowel control, and she was able =
to use her hind legs again.=A0
=A0
There is a write up about this radiation in Ferrets Magazine (I'm not sure =
if its online or not though), but its in the March/April 2007 issue, page 2=
4, by Dr. Joerg Mayer.=A0
=A0
It depends on how aggressive w/ treatment, Perla's owner wants to be, but r=
adiation may be an option that could help her.=A0
