Watch him for any danger signs:
no feces passing
nausea
tooth grinding
vomiting
not eating
etc

If there is any question then get an
appointment right away. Never wait
if a ferret has serious symptoms like
not passing feces.

Some things can take on the coloration
of the feces and be hard to spot, so
hopefully he already passed it all.

In the future here is a great technique
someone posted long ago which is much
better for some types of problems than
pulling the feces apart underwater, and
that other technique can be used afterward
if needed.

Put the feces in a small zip lock paper bag
close the bag and hold it up to a bright light,
and smoosh (technical term -- :-) ) the feces
with your fingers so that you can feel most
things wrong through the plastic and see
then better because of the light while you
look through the bag.
