Subject: [ferrethealth] Uno not eating again

Uno is back to grinding his teeth and not wanting to eat again! I
spoke with Dr and she said that he has cholestasis and she thinks
that the fluids he was getting for treatment helped wash the bile out,
that is why his pee was a bright staining yellow color. He will be
starting amoxicillin tonight. She also said she still suspects
lymphoma as did the ultrasound person.
So now I am going to be sub-qing him 2x daily and have to keep him in a
separate cage or pen so I can watch the color of his urine. She said
she doubts he has a ulcer as there is no "digested blood" or tarry
stool. He ate a whole bowl of soup last night! and was so bright! He
is back to where we started. I really thought/hoped we had a answer.
Will keep you updated on him.
