Subject: [ferrethealth] Found a ferret [intro whole male to neutered males]
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Hi all, this is my first post but I must say I find all your posts
really helpful. I live in Ireland and there aren't that many
knowledgable people or sources here so thank you for your posts!!!
I took in 2 albino (male) ferrets last August from a rescue center.
They are very loving and over friendly so it's worked out great, both
had their male dangly bits removed before I met them.
My local vet called me today to ask if I could take in a male ferret
that someone found earlier on in the week whilst it was being chased by
2 dogs. We've done the whole put up posters in the village thing and
everything but no one has come forward yet.
This lonely male ferret stinks a lot and still has his dangly male
bits, what is the best way to introduce him to my 2 ferrets? This new
male is quite a lot bigger than my 2 who are 3 and a half years old.
