I took blackie to the vets Friday night. The vet said that he felt that Blackie had increased his
strength on his right side by round 50% but had no strength on his left side. This gave me
some hope.
The doc gave him a dose of a Elspar. No change in other meds, still on pred, Torbutrol, and
Baytril. He takes Leukeran 2x weekly for now
Good news! Saturday evening, he had enough strength to support himself running in a
straight line, and then actually stood still in front of the food bowls. This was the first time
since monday that he was able to stand still without falling over.
I put down a plate of gruel/soup and he was able to get in a few sideways licks!
I have hope that he gets strong enough to eat on his own!
