I have mentioned esophagitis to my vet, although I think she suspects a
tumor. However nothing showed on the xray and even though they couldn=B9t g=
et
a good read with their ultrasound, I have my doubts on a tumor. A tumor
would have to be lodged in between the heart and esophagus, and to me, it
seems odd it would only affect the esophagus.

The food mix I made up when this first started was Innova Evo (which I have
fed for about 3 years now and put everyone back on), Totally Ferret and I
tried something new, Blue Buffalo Wilderness.

I have wondered about using steroids to reduce inflammation or perhaps even
anti-biotics in case there was an injury and infection with continued
inflammation.

My ferrets only go to the vet and Misha does walk outside. While I have two
new kits, they came into the house the first of December so I don=B9t belie=
ve
they would be a source for anything at all. You know Misha is a very gassy
little man and farts profusely when he potties. His films also showed a lot
of gas in his intestines.
