any solution that is being used to rebalance the electrolytes will
contain sugar. the ingredients are precisely balanced to provide what
the body needs to get itself back on track - you can't take out one of
the ingredients and still get the same result.
none of the solutions should ever be mixed with anything either - food
or water. it should be given by itself.
if you're concerned about the sugar content and using it with an
insulinomic ferret, talk with your vet about what the risks are and
other options available (sub-q's comes to mind).
