Subject: [ferrethealth] Addison's help

Daisy became more lethargic today and only eats if I give her gerber
spoon fed. She takes a few steps and lays down. Her surgery was last
Thursday. Her bruises are gone and her incision looks good. She is
keeping hydrated with 4 hour soup feedings. Her pee and poo look
fine.. I spoke with the vet. He called her in pediapred which she just
had her first dose of and she has the first appointment tomorrow a.m.
Will I see a difference tonight on the pediapred?
She only had one gland removed so the second must not be producing
sufficient enough hormones?..
What are the symptoms of Addison's? I searched and find posts with
people who say their ferret experienced it but none which lists
symptoms.
Can I expect to see improvement from the pred until we go in tomorrow?
