Hello everyone. I was fortunate enough to be given two male ferrets. They are less than a year old and are siblings. They appear to be in very good health except for one of them seems to be losing hair. Not completely bald but thinning badly. He also doesn't eat as much as his brother. On the upside, he is very friendly and playful. He doesn't show any other signs of sickness that I can detect. I've researched it and I've read everything from a possible adrenal problem to not enough exercise. We let them out and about for about 4 to 5 hours every night. During the day they are in a cage while I and my wife are at work. If there are any suggestions I am listening.
