Obviously ferrets have an odor. i know that bathing them is not good
because it will dry them out. I have a "dry bath" powder that is
supposed to help reduce the odor without the negative effects. Can
anyone give me advice as to whether this is good or not?

[Moderator's Note:
the effectiveness of the products are not a health
subject so those who want to tell Aaron about that
are asked to write to him directly.

There are some shampoos which are simply not
healthy for ferrets (for example, a number of flea
shampoos) and some which may not be (for example,
ones with tea tree oil or lavender since those are
estrogenic) and the health related aspects are on-
topic for the FHL and can be posted here.]
