Thanks Dr. Ruth, you were right. The vet even in NYC told me she
thought megaesophagus was rare, she said she had only seen two cases
in 25 years. Well, make Linus her third. I am really angry at one of
the vets I have been seeing because he has insisted, rather rudely,
that there was no way it could be megaesophagus. I spent so much
money on procedures and emergency visits this week, not to mention
Linus's pain and suffering, and the risk he had of aspirating.

Does anyone have any tips to share? I now know to have his neck
vertically and massage his neck, and I have heard that Zantac 75 seems
to help? Are there any other strategies I've missed?

Sincerely,
Cheryl
