Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Bone Cancer, Right Zygomatic Arch - What Can Be Done?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Thank you, Laura, for your response.

If I get any info from any VETS or those experienced with this
type of malignancy who might be reading here, that there
might be something else that can be done, I'll be *more* than willing
to go to such a place, immediately. What w/ my husband's work
schedule, having 2 kids at home, etc, I don't want to make a trip
somewhere just to get the same advice that we're already following.
It's not the money - that is not a concern when it comes to our
ferrets. I just don't want to go through all the time & effort to do
so, & especially not the stress of traveling on my Max, if there's
nothing additional or new that someone can offer.

So again - Is there anything new/experimental being done to treat
bone cancer, especially in the facial area?

My boy has so much life in him.....I don't want him to leave us when
there still might be some hope for him.

I AM DESPERATE!!!

Lin

[Moderator" Laura's suggestion is an excellent one.
The best people to know what cutting edge things
are being tried in oncology for ferrets will be
veterinary oncologists, and different ones may hear
or different projects.]
