Subject: [ferrethealth] Need Info Re: Lupron Implant Update

Got a hold of vet today and he says Lupron implant is no longer
available here.So she will need to start on monthly therapy...She is
going into Dr tomorrow afternoon...So we will see....I just don't
wank my little angel to be sick...I have been rescueing Ferrets for 5
yrs now and have seen alot..but this is my first with adreanal..The
folks I got her from thought she was a boy because of the pooched
vulva...In experience at it best...Quite common with ferrets..We will
get thru this...Thanks to all..

Where are you? The Lupron Depot (It is not an implant.)
has historically been able to be ordered by generic name
leuprolide from
http://www.professionalarts.com/
when no vets prepare it locally.
BUT you may need to correspond directly with them
because it is not coming up in a search and the
Abbott Pharmaceuticals page is currently non-functional.
I have also left a message with them.
In many other nations there is deslorelin which is actually
a better option often enough.
